Pass It On

If you’re reading this, I’m going to assume in one way or another you have a heart for the homeless.  I do.
Some time ago, while doing some street ministry, I realized a majority of those I was hoping to share the gospel with had already asked Jesus to be their Savior at some time in their past.  It’s not that they need to have Jesus, it’s that they do have Jesus but don’t realize it.  They think Jesus has walked away from them or at least think that He might have.
What I’m asking of you, if you’re reading this and have a heart for the homeless, or at least come in contact with them from time to time, or there is the possibility that you might go out of your way to speak to one at some time or another, that you would print out a couple of copies of the following post and keep them with you.
All you have to do is ask one of them if they have ever received Jesus as their Savior.  If they say yes, then give them a copy of the post and ask them to read it, and then move on if you want to.  This would apply to the most clean cut to the man or woman who looks like 20 years of hard life.  Read my post "Procrastination" on the following blog:  http://downtownministries.blogspot.com/
My experience is that rekindled hope in the heart of someone who has Jesus will accomplish wonderful things.
If you decide to do this, please let me know in the comment area.
God bless you.

It's Time to Talk

Hi.  I’ve been watching you for quite some time, and I think it’s time for us to have a talk.  I need to remind you of some things that you have forgotten.
I know how you feel.  You asked me to be your Savior, but somewhere along the road some bad things happened, and you think that I have forgotten you.  But I haven’t.
I remember  that day you asked  me to be your Savior.  I remember it well.  It was a joyous day for Me.  To this day I rejoice over you with singing.
I want to remind you of what happened that day, and remind you of the promises I made to you.
At the moment you first believed in Me, My Father sealed you in Me with the Holy Spirit to guarantee you that you have an inheritance with Me.  And that guarantee is good until I come back for you.
Before that day you were unloveable.  On that day I made you loveable.  I took all of your hostility toward Me and nailed it to the cross and payed the price for it.  I clothed you in My righteousness, not your own.  I made you a new creation.  I made you loveable in My sight.  And you will always be loveable to Me.
I promised you that I would never leave you nor leave you in the losing position.  I’m keeping that promise.
I promised you I will be with you until the end of the age.  I’m keeping that promise.
I promised you that I’m going to complete what I started.  I’m keeping that promise.
I promised you I would finish your faith.  I’m keeping that promise.
I told you I wouldn’t let anything separate you from my love.  I meant it.
I promised you I would build a home for you and that I would come back for you so that you could be with me.  I’m keeping that promise.
I promised you I have forgiven all of your sins.  I’ve kept that promise.
I want you to remember these things.  I did all of this for you, because I love you.
One more thing.  Some of my children have mistakenly thought that they have committed the unpardonable sin, that they have blasphemed the Holy Spirit.  There ‘s a reason My Holy Spirit explained why I said what I said concerning the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, because there would be times that My children would think they have done that.  I said this because the Pharisees had said that I had an evil spirit.  If they believed I had an evil spirit, then they would not recognize the testimony of the Holy Spirit about Me, and as a result, would not put their faith in Me.  But you recognized the testimony of the Holy Spirit about me and asked Me to be your Savior.  Now it’s not possible for you to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
I have forgiven you of all of your sins.  Be at peace, My child, I love you with an everlasting love.
Remember My words that though a righteous man (and I am your righteousness) falls seven times, he gets back up.  And you will stand, because I am able to make you stand.  I’m upholding you with my righteous right hand.
Love forever,
Jesus
